Hi everyone,
I’ve been noticing that when i connect to AGOL feature service to read a layer with over 1m features, it only reads up to 1m and ignores the rest. I’ve been improvising with “ArcGISOnlinefeatureGetter” transformer to read above 1m features.
What could be the cause please, is it my setting?
i’m currently on 2026.1

I guess ArcGISOnlineFeatueGetter_2 Transformer will have to remain the quick workaround.

- Esri ArcGIS Feature Service, from the Esri ArcGIS Connector package on FME Hub
If it's the first one, the 1M cap is expected. All FME 2026.1 builds are affected by the ArcGIS Online June 2026 change with the shipped Esri ArcGIS Online (AGOL) Feature Service format. FME 2026.2.1 is the earliest build with the fix for that format, so upgrading to 2026.2.1 or newer is an option if you want to keep using it.
The other option, and the one I'd recommend, is the packaged Esri ArcGIS Feature Service format. It has the fix in version 3.25.3 and newer, as mentioned in the first article Carlm linked. Install the latest version from https://hub.safe.com/publishers/safe/packages/esri-agol, or update it under Utilities > FME Options > FME Packages if you already have the package. Then switch your FeatureReader to Esri ArcGIS Feature Service. One thing to watch when you switch: the package only works with web connections whose web service name ends in (safe.esri-agol). Your current AGOL connection won't appear, so create a new one using the Esri ArcGIS Online OAuth (safe.esri-agol) web service. You can reuse your existing Client ID and Secret. The shipped formats are hidden starting in FME 2026.3, so the move is worth making now. Existing workspaces that use them will keep running, but you won't be able to add them to new workspaces in 2026.3+ Workbench.
If you're already on the packaged format and still stuck at 1M, check that the package is 3.25.3 or newer. If it is newer than 3.25.3 and you still only get 1 million features, please open a support ticket here: https://support.safe.com/hc/en-us/p/Support
