It looks like you have everything set up correctly in the writer.
Which version of FME are you using?
Could you send over your log file with the log debug selected (Tools -> FME Options -> Translation -> Log Message Filter -> Log Debug) and share a screenshot of your workspace? I would be happy to take a look.

Thank you for your answer! We have figured out another way to do it, its a little bit better then a dynamic writer in our use case. We have been using the user parameters, and it works like a dream. Thank you!
