What kinds of issues are you running into in your translation? It looks like there's quite a few features represented in your cad file, so you will need to decide which features you want to write out, and how you want them represented, whether as lines, points, polygons, or areas.
To get started, I would suggest reviewing this article on Converting Vector Data to Raster. This Q&A; question may also be a helpful resource to get an idea of how others are converting from DWG to Geotiff. As well, we have lots of resources on handling Autocad data; Getting Started with AutoCAD may be useful. Hope this helps!
