is this perhaps a Sybase Anywhere database? If so, you will probably have to install and configure the appropriate ODBC driver and then access the data in FME using the ODBC reader.
The ESRI edition of FME should suffice.

Do you know what the connection string looks like for an ODBC on a server. My Sybase Anywhere ODBC is already created. I supposed that I'll put my connection string in the Reader's Database parameters? And in the Dataset I put nothing?
It is my first time with FME ODBC reader :S
