I'd like to know if somebody has been problems reading specials characters (french language) from a domain values from arcgis.
I work with a file geodatabase.
FME don't read these caracteres from the domain value but work fine when I read from a text field.
Any idea?
could you please post a specific example?
E.g. what does FME read and what do you expect. Also, which version of FME?

I was wondering if you set the resolve domains option on in the reader ?
according to the documentation that should get you the textual values.

That worked !!
The problem: diference between FME readers: File Geodatabase ArcObjects and File Geodatabase API.
With the last one, I can't see any parametres for setting the resolve domains, but with the former the proccessing is too long.... but it works
