We have about 100 mapinfo workspaces for a project

 

We have moved offices and our drive letter mapping is going to change

 

This will mess up all the workspaces

 

Is there a way FME can edit the workspace (it can be viewed as text in notepad) to change the drive letters, similar to how you can use the string replacer in tab and excel files

 

 

This would also be useful for if you moved mapinfo layers to a new location rahter than having to re-add them all to workspaces

you could try using the Text Line reader and writer with a StringReplacer in the middle.

You could use search and replace in notepad as well of course...

 

 

Though using the stringsearcher is more powerfull.

 

Using a AttributeCreator & Co. with tcl functions is even more powerfull.
