Can you provide a 64 bit version of the GridInQuest transformer which I use all the time but have to use the 32 bit version. I know this depends on GridInQuest providing the dll but it is vital for me. The only option for me is to install 32 bit and 64 bit and use the 32 bit for any transformations using GridInQuest

Hi Philip - right now this is unlikely, largely because the OS haven't and won't be making the GridInQuest libraries available in 64 bit, that makes it hard for Safe to do it.

Can I suggest that you re-post this question as an Idea here https://knowledge.safe.com/content/idea/list.html and then add some detailed requirements around what and why you need it. The reason for this is that I know that you are not the only person who would like this functionality and I will encourage the people I'm aware of to vote on your idea with their business cases. Safe do have some limited options that they could consider, but it will be only possible if we can prove a ground swell of need from users.

Here's the response from the OS on this topic from May of last year for reference:

"Grid InQuest and it’s associated dll are “frozen” I am afraid so
further development on them to make them 64 bit is not possible. Work is
in progress to produce a new piece of software and we are collaborating with
Ordnance Survey Ireland and Land & Property Services Northern Ireland. Part
of the ITT being put together is that the new software should support 64 bit
systems.

The raw data for the OSTN02 transformation is also available so it
should be possible to use that to produce a 64 bit compatible library for
FME. Raw data is here - http://www.ordnancesurvey.co.uk/business-and-government/help-and-support/navigation-technology/os-net/formats-for-developers.html"

This comment and another I recieved from the OS suggests that implementing the OSTN02 transformation may be a simpler approach, so maybe that is an option?
