I have approx 600 points based on top of a surface. I want to be able to generate a 5 meter long line in each of these which is in the normal direction of that surface.

This is to be used for planning boreholes in a tunnel.

Finding the normal of a surface is ok - but the normal of the point on a surface seems to be more difficult. The lines that needs to be generated is created manually on the last image.
