I imagine it should be an easy solution, simply adding a new field to a SDE feature class since I am the owner.
I can't seem to figure it out!

I am trying to add a field to an existing SDE feature class (addresses) that is locked by ongoing map services.

Hi,
it is unfortunately not possible to modify an SDE feature class schema while it is in use. You will have to be the only one accessing the feature class to be able to modify it.
