Welcome back to TGIF everyone!  We hope you all enjoyed last week’s post, and we look forward to bringing you more weekly content!

Today, Tim S. is here to share information about the latest changes to Flow App Permissions in FME Flow 2026.1.

As of 2026.1, Flow App tokens are deprecated, meaning Flow App permissions will no longer be set via an API token. Flow App permissions will now be tied to the App Authors, and permissions for Resource and Web/Database Connections will be set directly in the app when creating it. This change will allow Flow Apps to run or be displayed without requiring an exposed API token, thereby enhancing security. This will affect all Flow Apps (Workspace Apps, Automation Apps, AR Apps, and Gallery Apps).

And with that, we're officially FME-done for the week. Rest up, and we'll see you on the flip side with more to explore!
