In regards to the security issues in regards to Apache Text Commons 1.6 till 1.9, I was wondering whether FME dekstop makes use of this file and if yes, one needs to be worried about it?
If you check the FME Desktop 2022 legal notice here, it does not seem so: https://www.safe.com/legal/terms-and-conditions/foss/
To be sure, you should perhaps also consider using a security scanner.

Thank you David, for now I assume Apache Text Commons is not used based on the legal notice pdf, since this file is not mentioned in that pdf file.
