IFC .....How Extract Global X / Global Y / Global Z ? I could extract details that is there in Properties , but for some reason am not able to expose this property . Any input is highly appreciated .

@vimva679 That sounds good to me, thanks for pursuing that mock dataset! I'll keep doing some testing on my end with the simple IFC data that I have on-hand. If my testing does produce something useful, I'll update this thread with those results!

I'd like to dig into this one a bit with you; would it be possible for you to provide a small sample of your IFC data from one of those readers that you've set-up in the provided workspace? I'd like to take a peek at some of the format attributes and see if perhaps those Global X, Y and Z properties are tied into a format attribute somehow.

i believe you are from FME Safe @ is there a way that i could send data in more secured way or else i shall create some kind of dummy data and send it over to you.

@vimva679 I am indeed from Safe Software! If you're able to provide some mock data which mimics your source data, it doesn't have to be much, that would work just fine here! I certainly understand the concern over data security.

in meantime if you got any quick idea how to extract this GENERAL properties would be great help as well.

@vimva679 These general feature properties can be extracted with a series of out-of-the-box transformers in FME Workbench. I've put together a simple workspace, in FME Form 2022.2.4, to demonstrate the process, using a Creator transformer as the source "dataset." If you replace the Creator with your own source data, you can obtain the same general properties highlighted in your screenshot, as attributes of each feature. I prefixed the created attributes with "Gen_" just to make these attributes easy to find. Let me know if this doesn't function as expected on your end, and we can adjust.

Natalie the general properties gets extracted perfect as expected, lets hope we for best with next / tnx

@vimva679 I have some potentially good news on the Global X, Y, and Z properties of you IFC data. I spoke with a colleague of mine, and they pointed me to a transformer that we have on the FME Hub called the TransformationMatrixExtractor. This transformer is also available right in FME Workbench, through the quick-add menu.
Essentially, the Global X, Y, and Z properties are contained within the transformation matrix of each feature in your IFC dataset. The TransformationMatrixExtractor will pull the values of this matrix out into new feature attributes, named _A, _B, _C, etc. Based on some testing, it looks like the values for the _E, _H, and _L attributes resulting from the TransformationMatrixExtractor correspond to Global X, Y, and Z respectively.
Give the TransformationMatrixExtractor a try and see if you acquire the values you expect to see for Global X, Y, and Z with your IFC source data.
