I'm hoping to get some guidance on how to use live wind data with base imagery. I'm trying to create a map that shows real-time wind direction and speed, but I'm having trouble finding a reliable source of live wind data and a method to display it on my map.
Do any of you have experience with this? I would appreciate any tips or suggestions you may have, such as the best sources of live wind data, how to pre-process the data, how to visualize it on a base imagery, and how to make it user-friendly and easily understandable.
I tried using API call from windy.com, but not much success there.
