Will I be impacted by Oracle JDK 8's - End of Public Updates - process after January 2019?

There have been some questions from FME users with regards to Oracle’s recent changes to their JDK distribution and support model and how this might impact them. FME 2019 (and FME 2018.1 on most platforms) uses an open source distribution of Java and is therefore unaffected by this change. Mature Releases and Retired Releases of FME use versions of Oracle JDK 8 that are not impacted by Oracle's change. In summary, no version of FME will include an Oracle JDK released after 2018.
