Character encoding issues with domain values ArcGis

could you please post a specific example?

 

 

E.g. what does FME read and what do you expect. Also, which version of FME?

I was wondering if you set the resolve domains option on in the reader ?

 

 

according to the documentation that should get you the textual values.

That worked !!

 

 

The problem: diference between FME readers: File Geodatabase ArcObjects and File Geodatabase API.

 

With the last one, I can't see any parametres for setting the resolve domains, but with the former the proccessing is too long.... but it works

Glad to hear, I wouldnt use the API reader for any serious ESRI interaction.

 

Its capabilities are limited.
