Luckily, we have some clues to help us.
Greenbeard was very keen on codes and ciphers. In particular, he liked the Double Transposition Cipher. This is a code that is encoded using two different keys. Unless you know both of those keys, you will not be able to decipher the message!
Let’s see if we can find those keys.
Key 1:
The transformer has since been removed, but you should be able to find a record of it somewhere on the FME Community website.
Key 2:
You should be able to find this presentation or related customer story on the Safe websites.
With the two keys, you can now decipher the message. If you don’t know how, check online for a method. You could either:
