FME: Puzzle 1
Yo ho…. oh no! Greenbeard’s cartographic team were meant to create a dataset where you would overlap the data on each layer to reveal a keyword.
But they’ve only gone and put all of the data on the same layer, with the same colour!
So, your task is to:
- Download this dataset (or this 2023 version dataset) and read it into FME Workbench
- Figure out how to separate or identify each intended layer of data.
- Use the AreaOnAreaOverlayer transformer to overlay the area/polygon features
- Find all of the overlaps between 2 features (i.e. _overlaps = 2)
If you do this, a code word will magically appear. Enter it into the dialog below and you will get another helpful clue to the overall puzzle.
