Will applying the FME Extension for ArcGIS in the FME Integration Console, as an administrator, persist the settings to any user of the machine or is it profile specific? Also, will this cause any user of ArcGIS, on startup, to consume an FME licen

Will applying the FME Extension for ArcGIS in the FME Integration Console, as an administrator, persist the settings to any user of the machine or is it profile specific? Also, will this cause any user of ArcGIS, on startup, to consume an FME license?

There is a general two-step process to get the FME Extension for ArcGIS configured - one in the FME Integration Console and the other in ArcGIS to enable the extension.

When you extend the FME Extension for ArcGIS, this setting will be applied to any user of the machine.

An FME license will only be consumed when you enable the FME Extension for ArcGIS in ArcGIS Desktop. There are a few ways you can enable it, the documentation outlines the different options.
