Hi All, when reading or writing to Smallworld Databases I found that if I sent the alternative as a parameter (FME Server) it would try to apply it to the wrong datasets then cause an error if the alternative didn't exist on that dataset

I had to remove the alternative but then I noticed that if the user changed alternatives after starting the service in smallworld it would revert back to the alternative it was in when the service was started... any one got a fix for this?

@leondonof​ Do you see the same behaviour on FME Desktop? To avoid this on FME Server, you might have to restart the FME Engine for each Smallworld job.

yes that was my work around too. haven't checked with desktop as haven't got the time ... cheers
