We are starting the conversion process for the ESRI Local Government model and was wondering if any one has a workbench that they used to get me going in the right direction? The process is pushing our data into ESRi`s with out changing there format. Seems to be a pretty straight forward process, but struggling with it. Any help would be much appreciated.

What are the formats of your source databases? You are just making a single database with a shape layer from multiple databases ... right?

Hello Mike,

We need to know first what is the data source format and what is the target format to have a better idea of what has to be done. Remember that if you are writing into Enterprise Geodatabase or Personal Geodatabase you need to have ArcGIS (with the relevant writing capabilities into the Geodatabase) installed with your FME Desktop Esri edition.

In general; you are converting from GIS to GIS the job is lot simpler than converting from CAD to GIS.

Cheers.
