Hi, I’m trying to connect using the ‘Databricks (JDBC) Reader’ but I’m receiving an error. I’ve attached a screenshot from the Error - Log Window. Any ideas?

What version of FME Form are you using when you run into this error? Additionally, when does the error occur? Is it when you are adding a new Databricks Reader to the workspace? ​​​​​​


Hi, thanks for your reply. Version is 2023.1 and yes it is when I add the reader. I add the connection details but as soon as I try to connect or ‘test connection’ it comes up with the error 


Thanks for sharing that additional information. If you go into your C:\Program Files\<FME Install Folder>\jre\lib can you see a folder called “ext”?

If so, can you delete or rename the folder and see if the error message still appears after restarting FME? The error message indicates that the ext file may exist in your FME install and is no longer supported.
