Trigger notification when workspace starts

It should be possible to configure FME Server to trigger a notification whenever a (specific) workspace starts processing.

You could have a Creator that triggers first followed by an FMEServerNotifier in the workspace.

Yes, that's what we've suggested to our client so far. However, it will trigger after the startup script and the scripted parameters, so not ideal.

@david_r - In the FME 2017.0 Beta Build 17176 or newer, the FMEServerJobWaiter now has the option 'Wait for Job to Start'. You might consider testing out this new feature!

It also involves a separate workspace with Creator-FMEServerJobSubmitter-FMEServerJobWaiter. However having a setting like 'Post to Topics on Start' similar to 'Post it Topics on Success' / '...Failure' when uploading/scheduling a workspace would be more straightforward.

Thanks for submitting this idea. Our product management team has reviewed it, and it isn’t on our roadmap. Features in newer versions of FME may address this need; if not, please feel free to submit a new idea.
