I would love to see:

* Similar functionality as python subprocess.Popen(...)

- pipe stdin from attribute or file

- pipe stdout, stderr to attriutes or files

* timeout handling

* arguments from list attribute or selection of attributes

* handling of filesystem encoding

* free coffee wherever I go =)

A rejected port should be added to catch full on failures as well.

It could be greate to add a button "Log : On/Off" in the SystemCaller to prevent security breach.

You can see my ticket for more informations

It would be fantastic if the SystemCaller returned the process id, it's really useful for interacting with the process, e.g. wait or terminate.

Example use case: https://knowledge.safe.com/questions/87473/process-triggered-from-system-caller-does-not-end.html
