Can you consider replacing Flexlm with a newer tool? For instance keygen which got launched recently. Being API-based this will fit Safe Software nicely: https://www.producthunt.com/posts/keygen

I've heard rumors that Flexlm will probably be gone by 2019, but it's only that, rumors :-)
