When configuring a workspace app, the description box gives you the option to insert an http path to an image. The default option should allow you to host an image directly on the FME Server and link to it, rather than assume you will host somewhere else! Currently it is difficult to add images to your descriptions.

It doesn't seem like you can edit your original post in the new Community/Ideas page :( I wanted to add that this functionality already exists for header & footer logos & banners, so it seems a bit inconsistent to not use the same process for images in the description.

Forgot I posted this over 2 years ago and once again hit a wall with this particular issue. Was going to post this wish but searched before I did, so here I am 🙂 I have tried posting a custom image to OneDrive and then sharing it so I can embed the URL in the description, but that makes the whole process unduly difficult and convoluted (and very prone to the image not loading for the end user). Having the ability to host an image on FME Server like we can for headers, footers etc. seems like a logical extension. Hope to see something in FME Server 2023! I don't like my current workaround, which is to host everything as a big, fat custom image in the header/logo with text and title included, and omit using the Description functionality altogether.
