This could make FME consultants' life much easier, as their clients may not be able to keep up with the latest versions. This is especially the case with FME servers, the upgrade of which often involves IT departments with their own schedule and procedures to follow.

    Just wanted to post this idea, but noticed that it already existed. Amazed that it only has so little votes, as I frequently experienced a situation myself where I had to send someone else my (newer) workspace.

     

    Also great for people (like me) who want to help other people using old FME versions on the Q&A Forum by making an example workspace and sharing it with them!

     

     

    Upgrading would not be feasible I guess, but downgrading (to the lowest non-retired release that supports all the transformers used in the workspace) should be possible perhaps?
