This helps when the newly created version of a custom transformer is no good. Currently workaround per Safe is to override the current version with the prior version.

Just adding a comment to serve as an "FYI" to anyone who comes across this posting... When a custom transformer is downloaded from FME Hub (whether directly via https://hub.safe.com or through the Transformer Gallery in FME Workbench) the definition – .fmx file – that is retrieved will contain all versions of that custom transformer. This will also happen if you select to update a (linked) custom transformer in FME Workbench.

So without any option to "rollback" right now, if you are testing or concerned that updating a custom transformer might change your workflow – then make sure to make a copy of the .fmx file before you upgrade to the new version. If you are not satisfied with the new version, then you can replace the old .fmx file. (And make sure to contact the content creator to let them know if anything is incorrect!)

Content downloaded from FME Hub within FME Workbench will be placed in the following directory:

macOS: ~/Library/Caches/Safe Software/FME/FME Store/

Windows: ~\AppData\Roaming\Safe Software\FME\FME Store\
