It would be great to be able to right click on a reader and update its features. I know this can be done through the Readers menu but a right click option would make this easier for workspaces with a lot of similar readers.

Yes, I'm working a lot with AGOL feature layers, often need to add or modify attributes as the projects go along. It is a tedious job to then go into my update workspaces to update each readers and writers through the menu each time. Not really interested in doing heavy dynamic workspaces with schema reading for some workspaces that I need to tweak regularly
