It could be useful to have a "replace with..." option in the transformer right-click menu, or have the Quick Add do that when using it while a transformer is selected. This could save some effort when replacing one transformer with another.

Or even a drag on top of the transformer to be replaced and clobber it. I often rework a transformer by adding a second one of the same type and mess with its properties then delete the existing one, but its connection annoyingly persists. I only have so many clicks in me any given day.

Yes, just mark your transformers an the click replace, and choose transformer to replace with.

Cause then it would be really efficient to use connect inspectors, and replace all the inspectors with a new transformer.
