I'd like other users to see schedules and connections but not to change.

Now there is "None" or "Full Access" (edit/delete) options only (unlike Read, Write, Remove for Topics, Subscriptions, etc.) per schedule/connection. A "Visible" or similar option would be really helpful.

There are shared connections that I would promote to use but not to changed (same as in Desktop). Similarly schedules are OK to be visible for reference but shouldn't be editable to anyone.

I agree with this. It would be helpful to be able to see when something is scheduled to run even if I shouldn't have access to modify it. And, sometimes you just want to see how a different schedule was set up so you can set up a new one not to conflict with it, or to borrow certain parameterization.

Definitely the same with server apps. I want to be able to view others' app configuration without being able to modify them.

Our department could definitely use a read-only view of our FME Server schedule. We have non-FME users in our department, including a supervisor and manager, who would benefit from being able to view the 40+ items in our schedule for reporting and knowing who to contact for troubleshooting issues that arise.

In FME Flow 2025.0, the permissions for Database and Web Connections have now been split into “Run” and “Write” instead of “Full Access”.

  • Run: Use the connection in a workspace.
  • Write: Full access to the connection.

No changes have been made to the Schedules’ permissions yet.
