Possible Enhancements to (or Spinoffs from) NeighborFinder

I have a couple of ideas for enhancements to NeighborFInder. I work in the telecom industry & need to get the pole number at the start & end of fiber line. With that in mind I have the following ideas as enhancements to NeighborFinder

1) Modify it to reference Vertex (#) in a line feature

2) Modify it to reference X/Y Coordinates from attributes in Line features

3) Modify it to allow us to extract only selected features

Yeah, it would be really usefull to extract only selected features like, the min, max or average distance etc.

 

 

This is only possible today with a sorter and sampler, which is causing O(n^2) time waste.
