I love being able to use cached values from a workspace run to populate various Transformer choices and I think the AttributeFilter would benefit hugely from this. Please add the capability to import values from the cache for the list of attribute values to filter.

Yeah! Thanks Nic for raising this. We've thought so internally too and now we "just need the votes":-)

Voting up this one as I see great value in this... and also want to add AttributeValueMapper import from Cache to this idea as it seems it would be almost the same functionality under the hood.

it's funny that you can import it from a data source but not the data that's an input, cached values to populate this filter would be fantastic.

I run UniqueValueLogger, write to a csv, and import the csv to AttributeFilter. Would be nice to just snap the connection!

Hi all! Happy to announce that this functionality has been released in our 2022.0 beta (https://www.safe.com/support/downloads/#next-beta ): Please give a try and let us know what you think! Any and all feedback is welcomed.

Currently in the works is an enhancement to perform a sanity check/improve the UX when trying to import a large number of attributes (e.g. >100).

Happy FME-ing!

Thanks! Can we please have this functionality in AttributeValueMapper as well?
