Nvidia (GPU) CUDA support in FME?


Is anyone interested in FME adding Nvidia CUDA support to some transformers as this would likely provide some significant processing boosts to routines that lend themselves to tasks that work well in parallel.

apparently the FME founders Don and Dale seemed open to the idea -

My guess would be that GPUs are becoming very common on the kinds of laptops that your typical intermediate to advanced FME user would be using.

or openCL.. just anything to get the rasterdata up to 2021-speed

Yes please! My GPUs are at almost 0% while I stare at the Workspace chunking away...
