Some hours after I started with some drone-imagery I stumbled on FME missing this format. Searching the Knowledge Center I found this post, so thumbs up for now.

It is possible to add trimesh (https://trimsh.org/trimesh.html ) package for OFF and PLY formats as an easy workaround.

Any news on this format? I really think it is simple and useful (way less investment compared to adding rhino or archicad). If you could use part of Safe growth on this, it would be great ^^!
