Any news on this? So far it’s been impossible to use Monday.com and FME in regards to webhooks because FME can’t respond with the initial challenge from Monday.com that’s required.
We don’t have a plan to develop a dedicated connector for Monday.com at the moment, but I’d be curious to know more about what you are trying to achieve and why the HTTPCaller might not be sufficient for your needs?
@PierreAtSafe Hi Pierre, I am not the original poster; however, we also use monday.com for projects and task management. Our use case will be to take a list of procurement contract information from another system as a CSV and use it to update task lists to the corresponding project board in monday.com for things like renewal dates, status, etc. I can share more details in the future, I am going the route of the HTTPCaller first.
@PierreAtSafe I believe @cratcliff may be referring to this “Challenge” requirement from the monday.com webhook documentation: https://developer.monday.com/api-reference/reference/webhooks . I am curious if FME Flow Hosted can fulfill this task with a webhook automation listener.
Hi @langdon_dqm, thanks for the reply, as valuable to me as if you were the original poster! One more use case to consider :)
Regarding the challenge from Monday.com… I believe your workflow could look for this JSON parameter and return its value accordingly. I’ll ask the Flow experts to be sure.
Provided you are using FME Flow 2025.1 or newer, the challenge requirement for Monday.com (or other, similar webhook validation mechanisms) can be fulfilled using Data Virtualization! The first half of this article walks through how to setup a basic endpoint/workspace that will “echo” the challenge value back to Monday.com.
If you run into any issues while working through that article, please don’t hesitate to submit a support ticket, and we will be happy to assist you!

Thanks, Aaron! We’ve been needing an excuse to play with Data Virtualization since it was announced. Will take a look.
