+21We work with very large workspaces and having the ability to view a minimap of the entire workspace and being able to use it to navigate around would be great.
Click to zoom to a location in the main workspace, drag a box to zoom to that area, etc, etc.
The minimap could be accessible/toggleable from the View Menu.
+21A nice option would be the ability to have the minimap on a second screen. Re-sizeable would be good too.
+14Hi @ecthelion, thank you for posting your idea! Did you know that FME Workbench has an "Overview" window? This displays your entire workspace in a small window, highlighting the portion that you are zoomed in on (in the Main canvas). The window itself is resizable, but you are not able to increase zoom level for the "Overview" window.

Does this meet your needs? What would make the "Overview" window a better experience for you?
+21Hi @rylan, thanks for pointing me at the overview window - it looks to be useful and covers half of the requirements. I like the docking too.
I would still like to see the click-drag-zoom and the off-screen (2nd monitor) options.
