Would be better with a Word READER and a TEXT PDF Writer with added maps inbetween - similar to Excel and references (or what it is called).

Being able to write to a format (PDF/Word/...) in which you can combine text/tables and maps/images would be great.

@ciarab : Jeff Konnen gave a talk on doing exactly this at the FME German UC in June. He produced amazing PDF output via Word using COM -- so Word itself did things under the control of FME. His slides can be found here and the last one has his contact info -- suggest you ping him and do let us know what comes of it.

Give Don the job of creating an OOXML writer and stand back :-)

It would be great to have such default functionality. We use the word writer for two years now and it helps a lot to communicate data quality issues to our providers. I published my MSWord-transformers on http://hub.safe.com.

The MSWordStyler and MSWordWriter transformers are in FME 2018 Betas. We are looking forward to feedback.

Hi @dbaldacchino, not at this time. I'd suggest you post another Idea suggesting the MS Word Reader as a format.
