I recently had to change computers. I realized there is a lot of customization to the look/feel as well as the Database/Web connections that are embedded in the old computer's FME, but I didn't find any easy way to port those into the new machine's FME Desktop. I am stuck rebuilding my settings on the new machine from scratch.

Perhaps this could be a future enhancement to the tool or some documentation on how to migrate those customizations could be published?

Hail Pirates! This is a must in my eyes. I've changed computers several times the last years, and always run into this issue. I know that one can export/import individual connections one by one. In the FME Options dialog, To export a connection, in the FME Options dialog, right-click on the connection > Export. And that you can copy database connections from the fme_connections.data file which will be located somewhere like: C:\\Users\\<user>\\AppData\\Roaming. But all other settings seems not importable nor copy-able atm. #FMEPirateChiefDayPost
