A generic WMTS reader would be of greater benefit. Currently FME is lacking this, with an inability to consume and utilise WMTS which are increasingly becoming the default way to serve out imagery.
ESRI seems to have their imagery basemap available in WMTS also:

The OGC web map tile service (WMTS) reader released in FME 2021.0 should be able to read from MapTiler WMTS!
