It can be a little difficult setting up the Snowflake connection having to configure a template for Azure AD.. perhaps in the database connection we can have an option to use the Authenticator=externalbrowser for the authentication process, and pass that as the jdbc connection string, without requiring the password. This will allow for FME Form to use the browser for authentication and reduce the steps and issues associated with configuring use of Azure AD.

To your point, I find anything with Azure AD integration, be it for Snowflake or other Web Connections, to be a challenge. :)
That said, I'm not sure how the challenge can go away as this step is required for those workspaces targeted for FME Flow so that the configuration can be persisted on that application.
And yes, you are correct, a more seamless approach on FME Form, would be to make use of the connection parameter Authenticator=externalbrowser . This can be done now when you use the Advanced option on the database connection... however, there is an issue where there are 3 prompts for authentication just to add a Reader to the canvas.
There is an existing enhancement request for this - FMEENGINE-77265. If you'd like to create a case and reference this idea we can associate your case with the enhancement request so that you can be notified when it has been added to the product.
