For FME Server 2017.0 and Newer, Active Directory configuration is now done entirely within the FME Server Web Interface! https://docs.safe.com/fme/html/FME_Server_Documentation/Content/WebUI/Active-Directory.htm Should this not address any concerns related to this idea posting, please let us know by leaving a comment. Alternatively, you may consider creating a new idea with a focused description.

@ml56067 @rollo @ogayte and anyone else interested in this Idea... It would be very helpful (!!) if you could add some comments that will help more specifically define this goal of "improving the LDAP experience." Without a clear definition, I feel this Idea is subject to either A) never being satisfied, or B) marked as "Completed" as part of general updates to the product.
