Horizontal scrolling in FME Forms

Hi,

I tend to build very long horizontal scripts due to my company guidelines regarding FME Form. It would be a convenient feature to be able to scroll horizontally using the shift key + mouse wheel.

    Scrolling vertical seems a bit strange in FME. All connectors are from left to right.

    💡 Did you know... The FeatureWriter is more intuitive. 😏

    If I hold my mouse over the horizontal scrollbar, then use the wheel, FME scrolls horizontally. Don’t even need to hold the shift key.

    True, but I would rather be able to scroll anywhere.

    Really? You haven’t seen some of my Workspaces yet… I always need to scroll up, down, left, right zoom in, zoom out (using the scroll-wheel to zoom out would help me a lot!).

    Really? You haven’t seen some of my Workspaces yet… I always need to scroll up, down, left, right zoom in, zoom out (using the scroll-wheel to zoom out would help me a lot!).

    You can zoom in and out using ctrl + mouse wheel. :- )

    Ah! didn’t know that. That’s convenient (allthough I’m usually a lazy single handed developer - cup of coffee in one hand, mouse in the other ;-) )

    Idea exists in product. To scroll horizontally, press Alt+scroll wheel on Windows OS, and Shift+scroll wheel on macOS.
