If you import an AD Group in FME Server 2017/2018, FME Server creates the Group and imports every user of this group.
If you delete the group later on, it leaves you with all users which have to be removed manually.
I think two better approaches would be:
- Let the admin choose on group import if he wants also to import the users of this group. Privileges could be only assigned by the group an AD user belongs to.
- If you delete/remove an AD group, give the admin the option to also automatically remove the users of this group.
The current procedure is rather cumbersome if dealing with large user groups...
