+12I would like to suggest, if there is a way to provide small installation of FME such that it can execute workbenches thru command prompt or converting workbenches as exe files and perform translation.
This will help us to provide the workbenches to non-FME users.
Agree with @sigtill. You can provide data translation services to non FME users via FME Server / FME Cloud.
+21If you have no FME Server or credit on Cloud but some floating Desktop licenses, the request may be valid.
If the user requirement is to run a workspace with known parameters, it is not necessary to set up the full Desktop. A minimal install option that excludes the workbench and other 'human requirements' is useful for non-FME users for whom admins can provide a shortcut/button to run the workspace they need.
Or at least an option not to create Start Menu/Desktop icons, integration, etc, if a minimal install wouldn't be smaller than the standard one.

It prompts for the public parameters, without allowing any changes to the workspace itself.
