Instances are sometimes brought up for quick development or testing reasons. But may be forgotten about after the fact, leaving an active instance running, burning through credits.
An alert that detects when an instance changes to a running status, then sending an email notification every x hours saying this instance is still running.
Or a alternative could be a schedule which pauses the instance at the end of the day as a one-off.
