Keen to see this for FME Server, would make workspace design even more flexible for server purposes.

You are now able to use the FeatureWriter in Data Download and Data Streaming when published to FME Server! This feature is in the latest FME Server and Desktop 2019.0 betas.

Note: FME Server 2019.0 was released on April 2 2019. This idea status marked as Released.
+1@rylanatsafe - I'm using this in FMEServer 2020 and the zip output has an extra 'FeatureWriter' folder above the expected 'output' folder - anyway to resolve this? (I'm using a generic writer within the FeatureWriter) - thanks
