It would be very nice to extract the DWG properties (the equivalent of the DWGPROPS command in AutoCAD) into FME. These are drawing properties and not feature properties.

I second this. Currently lacking the ability to extract / expose the DWGPROPS “Statistics” which include Created & Modified (dates) and differ from the file metadata.

Are dwg system variables where i would find these custom properties?
Essential functionality for .dwg format, IMO
