With FME Server 2018 being able to assign users mail addresses (for password recovery) and FME Server 2017+ being able to pull an mail address from the ActiveDirectory (the FME Server Admin UI already exposes this) it would be really nice to expose this as FME Server Parameter in workspaces, e.g. $(FME_SECURITY_USER_MAIL).

This would allow scenarios like sending mails after a process to an user which authenticated via SSO without to publish/request the mail address from the user (e.g. webform field).

This is a very interesting use case! It's sort of possible if you use the FME Server REST API (GET /security/accounts/< account >) – but this would have to be used in every FME Workspace .. and still would require configuring a separate Email Subscription with a Custom Keyword... (Emphasis on the "sort of possible"!)
