I often produce data output which goes towards Excel and it would be very helpful to sort the data before writing. now i've to use several Sorter Transformers to do this.

Why can you not use one Sorter before writing to Excel?
The one Sorter can combine different sort algorithms in one transformer as shown in the image below:
