Being able to use the ESRI GlobalID as an update of delete key on a enterprise geodatabase would be a great help to many workflows.

Also creating a GlobalID field in a GDB and a switch for preserving/creating input values on insert
Definitely need to be able to preserve existing GlobalID. This is important for key relationships for relationship classes between features and tables.

Just wanted to let the Community know that this been implemented as of FME 2019.0! You should now be able to use FME to maintain ESRI Global ID fields when writing to ESRI Geodatabases. Check out the Documentation for the Esri Geodatabase (ArcSDE Geodb) Writer Parameters for more information on the Preserve GlobalID parameter.
